Hello from your rubric team - When can you submit a rubric prepared solo?

Hello everyone!

As of today, 489 rubric assessments have been successfully submitted. This is 64% of the total. Nineteen days remain until submissions close on Friday, May 16, 4:00 PM Eastern.

We greatly appreciate all of your hard work!

On Monday, May 5, we will open submissions for “Solo Rubrics” or rubrics prepared without SAM team participation.  In order to submit these rubrics, you MUST first obtain approval from your mentor, and the NSIP home office.

How do you get approval to prepare a rubric solo, without the input of the TT owner or SAM?

1.  Inform your mentor and get the mentor's okay.

2. Send one email to Carol/Jim/Alex briefly describing the school/client/situation, and confirming your mentor contact.

If the TT owner has departed the work site (early retirement, resignation, lengthy leave, etc.) and the SAM has declined to work with you on the rubric, we will respond immediately with approval to prepare a solo rubric.

If the TT owner has been unresponsive, or ghosted you at set appointments, Mark has committed to contacting these TT owners personally to encourage them to engage with you. He will act immediately and we will communicate the outcome.

The month of May starts this week!  If there is ANY client you have not scheduled for a rubric assessment meeting, PLEASE DO IT TODAY.  We are here to provide assistance; let us know about any difficulty or challenge that you are experiencing.

As we check in rubrics and do an initial read through of each one, it is so clear how much your clients appreciate you.  We read celebration after celebration from clients who want the organization to know what a critical difference you make in their professional lives - Applause!  Applause!

• Friday, May 16, 4 pm EST                     RUBRIC DEADLINE for 2025

*Any new clients assigned to TCCs AFTER rubric attachment do NOT prepare a rubric THIS year. This includes new additional users.
